From the Artifacts Collection of the Society

Did you save your notes from law school? This student did!

We can’t quite make out his name, but he evidently used some pages as an autograph book.

Some of his classmates were from East Saginaw and Monroe, Michigan, as well as Illinois, Ohio, and New York.

The notebook covers a number of lectures over the course of late 1869 to early 1870 and this diligent student even created a table of contents for his notebook. Recognize any of his professors’ names?
