CHIEF JUSTICE JOHN R. DETHMERS: The Court takes note of the impending retirement from this Court of one of its members, Mr. Justice EDWARD M. SHARPE. His term as a Justice expires at the end of this year. It is altogether likely that this is the last day that he will sit on this Bench as a member of this Court to hear the presentation of arguments by counsel.
His associates, in bidding him adieu, commend his record of distinguished service and outstanding contributions to the law and the administration of justice during the 24 years of his incumbency on this Court.
They wish him well in retirement and trust that many years of life and health, usefulness and happiness may remain to him and to Mrs. Sharpe.
